Other Festivals Could Steal Big Acts From Glastonbury

Glastonbury Festival organisers have revealed that other festivals could steal some of the big names away from Glastonbury, because Glastonbury cannot afford them.

Michael Eavis revealed that other festivals "can pay them more and we can't afford it."

He also added that, "We can't afford to spend £2m on a headliner because it wouldn't work. There's no way that we could run this show paying those sorts of fees, Bands have never charged me the full whack - even with Bruce Springsteen, I told him what I can afford so he agreed to it and didn't try to beat me up on the price."

So if you were thinking of an all star 40th anniversiary bash, you may have to start thinking again...
