BBC Glastonbury Expenditure Investigated

The BBC is to be investigated over its coverage of Glastonbury festival, to see if it is value for money.

The National Audit Office will look over the coverage of Glastonbury 2009, where the BBC spent an estimated £1.5million, and send 407 reporters.

The investigation will form part of a report which will scrutinise the BBC's expenditure at a series of music and sports events.
