I cannot promise that I will be around to make a post when they actually go on sale, therefore this is the best advice I can offer.

Kate Moss To Release Glastonbury Handbag

From time to time its nice to have some fun stories to cover. You know, to take the seriousness out of things. Actually I'm pretty sure the story about The Wombles playing Glastonbury 2010 may have already removed any form of seriousness from our front page, but we'll plod on nevertheless.

Kate Moss is apparently working on a handbag that can not only hold two drinks, but can also be worn on your shoulder.

"This one is great for Glastonbury.

"You can hold two drinks and put it over your shoulder, it's perfect,' she told Vogue Magazine.

Funny how Kate manages to land herself in some sort of Glastonbury related news article each year. I wonder if she has her ticket for this years event yet?

Glastonbury Here Until 2016

The Mendip Council have granted Glastonbury festival a brand new licence, which means it will be around until at least 2016.

For the very first time the licence was passed without any objections.

Again Glastonbury will take a fallow year in 2012 to help the land recover from the mass of fans that flock to the festival every year.

Jason Kirkwood, a spokesman at Mendip District Council, explained to eFestivals: "This is the first time that there won't be a hearing (for Glastonbury Festival) amending the application.

"I've been here since 2001 and it's never happened before, as far as I know. The objections have been mediated to a mutually agreeable solution, and so the amendments (to the licence) will go straight through."
