Great news for people still looking to get hold of tickets for Glastonbury festival 2010.

Emily Eavis has tweeted that there won't be a sudden announcement on the Glastonbury ticket re-sale, but instead a weeks notice!

Muse To Be Joined By Orchestra At Glastonbury?

muse to be joined by orchestra glastonbury 2010The following article is a bit of a mash up of some of the news we have already posted. However it still offers some interesting information regarding Glastonbury festival 2010.

Muse have hinted to the BBC, that they may be joined by an orchestra at Glastonbury 2010. We had previously reported that they might have been collaborating with Bono but this now looks unlikely, due to U2s busy tour of America.

In the same show, Emily Eavis also confirmed that the Line-up will be wrapped up in the next month, and that the surprise act that we also posted about is something from the pop field.

She also mentioned that there will be larger acts playing on smaller stages this year as anticipated, adding that the line-up will have a lot of variety.

48 Hour Grace Period For Ticket Balance Payments

glastonbury extend ticket payment deadlineGlastonbury organisers have allowed a 48 hour grace period for those who have paid their deposit, but not yet paid their ticket balance.

Taken from the official website:

"If you haven't yet paid your balance, then you now have until 11.59pm on Tuesday (2nd March) to head to www.seetickets.com/g2010/ and pay the remainder."

The post also made a little comment about when tickets will go back on sale again, but (as ever) its as vague as hell.

"We will be announcing details of the resale of cancelled tickets soon. Please keep an eye here on the website for the latest news on that."

As Emily said that the line-up will be confirmed in the next couple of weeks, we expect that it wont be long until tickets are availible again; probably in the first half of this month. It seems as good a time as any don't you think?
